My goal was to lose 10 lbs in 90 days. It was harder than I thought. I was my personal trainer twice a week for an hour. I wasn't seeing the weight come off but the inches were coming off. I also did Zumba 4-5 days a week along w/ the personal training. Finally, after 8 weeks I lost 4 pounds. It was a real struggle to lose the other 6 lbs. But w/ the help of a trainer pushing me through the hard workouts, I finally met my goal.

I have been a fitness enthusiast for many years. My program has provided me with the most challenging, exhilarating, but most importantly, fun I have ever experienced. Every time I train with Justin and Brian, I learn brand new training ideas for the most ultimate success. Previous to working with Justin and Brian, my workout experience had not been very effective and I found myself doing the same old thing without any drive. My name is Rita and I am 60 years old. I have battled a weight problem my whole life. The only way I have successfully lost weight in the past is by following the Weight Watchers plan and attending weekly meetings. I was not as successful in keeping the weight off, however, and as old habits returned, the weight crept back on. As 2009 began, I knew I had to do something to shed some pounds and get in shape, but I resisted going to Weight Watchers yet again.
Then in early February I learned of a local program. They were seeking participants for a weight loss/fitness program. It sounded like a great program with an eating plan, a personalized fitness plan, and either a weekly or semi-weekly sessions with a certified trainer on staff. So on February 13th, I went to check it out and liked what I saw. There were lots of machines, nice clean locker rooms, free fitness classes, and friendly, encouraging staff. So I signed up. Every two weeks Justin coaches me through a new exercise regime, and writes it all down so that I can repeat it over the following two weeks. It has been a long time since I have worked so hard, and there are times when I think “There is no way I can do that!” but I do the best I can and sometimes surprise myself.
I try to get to the gym to workout at least four times a week and as a result I have lost 35 pounds in twelve weeks. Of course I have also changed my eating habits, fewer carbs, lots of veggies, less red meat, more fish and chicken. The weight loss and inches lost are very motivating. I need that because I still have a long way to go to reach my goal. But I feel so much better already and just take it one day at a time.
